A word about what we practice and teach, and why.
Susan O'Donnell is a KYI cerified Kundalini instructor. She has practiced Hatha Yoga for close to thirty years and Kundalini for many years and considers herself not only an instructor but a life long student of yoga. Susan's studies include classes with Donna Farhi, Gary Kraftsow, Desiree Rumbaugh, and Hari Kaur Khalsa, and is certified in the first level of Thai Yoga with New England Thai Yoga School.
Michelle Barbieri:Michelle is an area elementary school teacher and moonlights with us when she has the "free" time. She has been teaching pre-schoolers in the area about the wonders of science and the thrill of creating your own art for many years. She has included Creative Movement to the schedule. Look for her Jewelry Making classes and other awesome classes for older kids offered after school and during school vacations.
Kathy A. Clark, RYT has been practicing and teaching yoga for over 8 years, and has discovered the powerful benefits of adding 30 minutes of yoga to her daily workout schedule. She is a graduate of the Yoga Teacher Training Institute in Northport, NY, and is a registered yoga teacher and a member of the National Yoga Alliance, California Yoga Teachers Association and LIYA.
Kathy teaches and eclectic style of Hatha, incorporating Kundalini, Jivamukti, and Iyangar traditions into her program. Kathy also incorporates deep breathing and relaxation techniques to maintain the balance of mind, body, and spirit. Kathy has taught at a number of yoga studios on Long Island and is currently sharing her passion for yoga with the corporate community in the Boston area. Kathy believes that yoga is for everyone, for every'body', regardless of age, lifestyle, or ability. Nirali Patel has been practicing vinyasa style yoga for 7 years now. Yoga makes her feel wholesome and healthy, It's amazing healing quality makes you smile from the inside. Yoga teaches compassion, kindness, acceptance and forgiveness towards yourself. Yoga helps you get in tough with your authentic self. Nirali has experienced all of this in ther pracitice over the years and wants to share this with everyone. Her yoga classes involve breathing, sometimes chanting, meditation, asanas and relaxation.
